Between the new May Spotlight Program, Pack Drop 3, a new Conquest map, free Memorial Day rewards, and another Chase Pack refresh, there is a lot to jump into whether you play competitively or just log in for shorter sessions MLB Stubs.
The biggest addition is probably the May Spotlight Program, headlined by Nick Kurtz with a 94 OVR card. A.J. Ewing and Brandon Sproat are included too, and all three give players some solid free options to add depth without spending a ton of stubs. One thing players seem to like about the Spotlight series is that it pulls from real-life performances, so the content feels connected to what is happening during the MLB season instead of being completely random.
Pack Drop 3 also adds a few interesting names. Henry Bolte, Yohendrick Pinango, Rodolfo Duran, Daylen Lile, and Aaron Ashby are all part of the release, but Ashby is definitely... less

At the center of it is a special 92 OVR Mural George Springer card for right field, which fits nicely into early and mid-game lineups. It's part of the broader Mural progression path, where you unlock rewards by completing Moments, stat missions, PXP goals, and offline gameplay modes MLB Stubs.
The idea is simple: play naturally, knock out structured objectives along the way, and you end up with a solid Diamond outfielder plus progress toward bigger Mural rewards like Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Roy Halladay, and José Ramírez.
How to Unlock George Springer FasterThe fastest path to the 92 OVR Springer is all about stacking Program Points and PXP at the same time, especially through Mini Seasons and offline modes.
A clean route looks like this:Start by grabbing the free My Legacy Collection Icons in the Bonus tab. This gives you an instant boost of 20 Program Points... less

Whether you're playing Diamond Dynasty, Franchise, or Online Rated, understanding how ratings work can help you make smarter roster choices and get more value from every card.
Instead of looking only at a player's Overall Rating (OVR), it's important to consider position, attributes, and how the card performs in your preferred game mode MLB Stubs.
Understanding the Rating TiersEvery player card falls into one of several rating tiers:• Diamond: 85 OVR and above• Gold: 80–84 OVR• Silver: 75–79 OVR• Bronze: 60–74 OVR• Common: Below 60 OVR
While higher-rated cards are usually stronger, OVR isn't the only factor that determines how effective a player will be on the field.
Highest-Rated Live Series PlayersSeveral Live Series players sit at the top of the ratings leaderboard and remain some of the best options in the... less

It's about building a roster that performs consistently in real games-across different situations, matchups, and play styles.
The players who do best early in the season usually aren't chasing hype cards. They're focusing on balance, versatility, and reliable in-game performance.
Why Team Building Matters More Than Overall RatingOne of the key ideas in Diamond Dynasty is that overall rating doesn't always reflect real impact.
Smart roster building focuses on:• How a card performs in actual gameplay situations• Whether it fits multiple roles or lineups• How well it complements the rest of your team• Long-term usefulness as the meta shifts
A "lower-rated" card with great mechanics can easily outperform a higher-rated but one-dimensional player.
